Stanleys celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

William and Minnie (Champion) Stanley of Caddo Mills, TX celebrated their 50^th anniversary on May 4, 2013. They were married May 4, 1963, at the home of the bride?s parents in Caddo, Oklahoma. Mrs. Stanley is the daughter of the late Noah and Hughline Champion. He is the son of the late Fred and Wilma Stanley. Mrs. Stanley is retired from Community Independent School District, and Mr. Stanley is retired from the Dallas Police Department. They have two children, Janet Stanley McCann and her husband, Todd; and the late William Scott Stanley. Their three grandchildren are Blake Stanley and Brian and Kyle McCann. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley celebrated their anniversary with a dinner hosted by their daughter in Corinth, Texas.
